Alert

Anatomy

An alert is composed of a type icon, a title with an optional message below it, and an optional close button. The detailed anatomy is documented in the Dr. Max Library (Figma).

Type

Properties

Keep in mind — if the text (either message or title) stays single-line then it should be vertically centered. If it is multiline the icon should stay in the left top corner and the text should be aligned to top.

Dismissable

An alert is either dismissable (renders a close button so the user can hide it) or persistent (stays on screen until the underlying condition is resolved).
